Air-Seal^® products offer a unique range of tyre sealants that are able to treat machinery and vehicles for both on and off-road environments.

As soon as the tyre wound/puncture occurs and Air-Seal^® instantaneously forms a plug within the tyre wound, the air pressure loss is stopped. This scenario is based on the correct volume of Air-Seal^® installed within a structurally sound tyre. The next six to ten wheel revolutions cause flexing of the tyre and the wound which increases the matting properties of the Air-Seal^®, making it a permanent seal. Once this plug is formed, the sealant will work its’ way through the depth of the wound almost to the outside of the tyre (it actually stops just short of the outside of the tread area).

This process will take place even if the puncture occurs in water because the pressure inside the tyre is greater than the outside pressure so the escaping air will push the tyre sealant into the wound from the inside.
